Quality Control Specialist II

Shift 1 (United States of America)

Milacron is looking for a 1st Shift Quality control Specialist.

Position Summary:

• Set-up and operate gaps between screws (CNC, Threadmill, Finish Inspect, Pre-Inspect) to blueprint specifications.

• Must use precision measuring tools specific to job.

• Must use job specific hand tools or pneumatic tools for assembly or boxing

• Read part drawing with sectional views.

• Lift, position and transport work piece with a hoist.

• Must accurately record labor hours into E1 system.

• Maintain plant standards in areas of safety, quality, delivery, cost, 5S, housekeeping, teamwork and attendance.

• Demonstrate personal leadership; actively participate in or lead problem solving and continuous improvement efforts.

• Demonstrate flexibility when confronted with high stress or emergency situations, priority changes, or new assignments.

• Other duties may be assigned

Basic Qualifications:

• Must know how to read, speak, and understand English

• Must know how to read blueprints

• Must know how to read precision tools

• Must know some basic math functions

• Must be at least 18 years of age

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in manufacturing

• Experience in Extrusion preferred but not required
