Job Summary:
The Quality Control (QC) Testing Engineer is the last gatekeeper of service excellence. You will design and run manual and automated tests across our cloud contact-center products and client programs, ensuring we ship reliable software and deliver flawless customer interactions.
Working side-by-side with product, engineering, data and operations teams, you’ll spot defects early, drive continuous improvement and uphold regulatory and SLA commitments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan & design testing: Translate product specs, call-flow maps and analytics requirements into test strategies, detailed test plans and acceptance criteria.
• Execute manual & automated tests: Functional, regression, load, security and IVR/telecom-line tests for web, mobile and voice channels.
• Defect management & reporting: Log, triage and track issues in Jira; publish quality metrics (defect density, coverage, CSAT impact).
• Reviewing reports & validating data: Review reports, validate data accuracy, identify trends and turn findings into actionable insights.
• Compliance & customer trust:
– Validate PCI-DSS, HIPAA and GDPR controls in cooperation with InfoSec.
– Review conversational-AI intents and transcripts to ensure ethical, bias-free output.
• Process improvement
– Champion test automation, shift-left quality and root-cause analysis culture.
– Mentor junior testers and contribute to QA playbooks and best-practice libraries.
Qualifications:
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in software or contact-center QA (Specialist, Analyst, or Engineer) preferred; fresh graduates with relevant academic projects, internships, or strong interest in QA are encouraged to apply.
• Technical Skills: Solid grasp of QA methodologies and at least one modern automation framework.
• Working knowledge of SQL/NoSQL queries and API testing (Postman, RestAssured).
• Strong analytical mindset, excellent written and verbal English, and a passion for meticulous detail.
• Bonus points for:
- Familiarity with CI/CD (Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
- Experience testing VoIP, SIP, IVR, speech-to-text or real-time communications.
- ISTQB, CSTE or similar certification.
- Performance-testing tools (JMeter, k6) or security-testing basics (OWASP ZAP, Burp).
