Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Quality Control Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to work on a multi-year design-build construction contract at Holston Army Ammunition Plant.
What You'll Be Doing:
As a Quality Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining quality control procedures to ensure the highest level of standards are met as outlined in the USACE – CQM course.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with established quality standards
Communicate and collaborate with project managers and team members to identify and address any quality issues
Lead and participate in cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues and implement corrective actions
Communicate with clients to understand their quality expectations and ensure those expectations are met
Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure quality standards are met by suppliers and vendors
Provide regular reports and updates to management on quality control activities and outcomes.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Must have or be able to obtain a US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Contractors Quality Management Certificate (CQM)
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction, Project Management, Business, or Quality discipline or related field (or equivalent work experience)
4+ years of work experience in Quality, or related field
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve quality issues in a timely and effective manner
Promptly complete and furnish all letters, material submittals, shop drawing submittals, schedules and all other project documentation to the CQC organization
Strong computer knowledge/skills
