LOCATION: HQ Smyrna, TN. Non-remote.


Job Description:

As a Quality Control Coordinator, you will ensure The Escape Game and Great Big Game Show excellence through various Quality Control measures such as: Production Quality Control, Installation Review, Launch Support, and Lifetime Support.


Benefits & Schedule: 
  • Eligible for TEG HQ Full Time Benefits and HQ Bonus as outlined HERE

  • Expected Weekly Hours: 40 - 45 with more as projects require

  • Travel Expectations: Extensive (35% of possible working days)

  • Expected Schedule: 

    • Office: Monday - Friday (day shift)

    • Installation & Launch Travel: Monday - Friday plus weekends (depends on installation schedule, weekend work often includes accompanying rest/off days during the upcoming workweek)

  • Oncall: Available for calls about team projects and other necessary team questions


Job Responsibilities:
  • Production Quality Control
    • Create and maintain Quality Control documentation of produced components.

    • Perform the QC function in shop for all experiences produced and shipped through TEG and GBGS.

  • Installation Review
    • Review Floor Plans for all upcoming locations and provide feedback as necessary.

    • Travel to upcoming locations to quality control each experience being installed and ensure completion of generated Punch List

  • Launch Support
    • Support urgent game issues and store organization during demos while generating site-specific documentation to ensure successful launches and ongoing care for games and stores.

  • Lifetime Support

    • Maintain post-launch oversight of stores by performing routine spot checks, support check-ins, and scoping improvements or renovations to ensure ongoing quality and operational excellence.


Job Requirements:
  • Experience with Google Sheets and using formulas

  • Understanding of architectural floor plans and general construction processes

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with a contagiously positive, can-do attitude

  • Strong communication skills - written, on the phone, in-person

  • Basic understanding of production processes including CNC, Carpentry, Scenic, Paint, and Controls Technology

  • A love for escape rooms and interactive media

  • Experience leading others in an informal structure

  • Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds individually

  • Able to stand, walk, climb ladders, and navigate tight spaces for extended periods of time
