Hexcel is currently seeking a Quality Business Analyst (Data Analyst) for our Salt Lake City, UT, USA location.
The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:
- Develop and maintain process performance metrics and scalable data models to support manufacturing excellence
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and improvement opportunities
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and automated reporting solutions for KPIs (e.g., scrap, warranty, PPM)
- Extract and integrate data from ERP, MES, LIMS, and other business systems
- Partner cross-functionally (quality, operations, planning, purchasing, logistics) to deliver data-driven insights
- Support cross-site analytics initiatives, including reporting standardization and automation
- Assist sites with dashboard development, reporting tools, and business analyst support/training
- Collaborate with IT and Quality teams to enhance global reporting capabilities and system integrations
- Support system updates and configurations (e.g., LIMS upgrades, MES enhancements, automated certifications)
- Perform ad hoc analysis and lead special projects to drive business solutions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics, reporting, or a related field (manufacturing preferred)
- Experience with SQL, Python, or R
- Proficiency in Microsoft tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Power Query, and Power Apps
- Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources (ERP, MES, LIMS, etc.)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and support global teams
