Quality Assurance Engineer (Selenium, API Testing, Java/C#)

The Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer at Synechron is a pivotal role that ensures the delivery of high-quality digital solutions through meticulous testing processes. This role is integral to sustaining Synechron’s reputation for excellence in digital transformation initiatives. As a QA Engineer, you will contribute significantly to our business objectives by ensuring software quality and reliability, thereby enhancing client satisfaction and operational efficiency.

• Required Software Proficiency:
  • Selenium for web application and API automation testing
  • POSTMAN for API testing
  • TestNG/Maven/Gradle for test execution
  • JIRA and X-Ray for test management
  • CI/CD tools such as Bamboo or Jenkins
  • Code management tools like Git
• Preferred Software Skills:
  • REST Assured framework
  • Cloud Device Platforms such as HeadSpin, HPMC, BrowserStack, Perfecto

• Conduct automation and manual testing of web and mobile applications.
• Develop, implement, and maintain test plans, strategies, cases, and reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing strategies and ensure seamless integration into development processes.
• Lead initiatives on Scrum and Agile frameworks to enhance team performance and product quality.

• Programming Languages:
  • Required: Proficiency in Java or C#
  • Preferred: Familiarity with other programming languages
• Frameworks and Libraries:
  • Required: Selenium, BDD, and TDD frameworks
• Development Tools and Methodologies:
  • Required: Experience with IDEs like Eclipse, IntelliJ, or Visual Studio
• Security Protocols:
  • Preferred: Understanding of security testing practices

• A minimum of 4+ years in automation and manual testing.
• Experience in the banking domain or digital applications is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Accessibility testing for web and mobile applications.

• Execute comprehensive tests and report results to stakeholders.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings.
• Work closely with developers and product managers to resolve issues and implement improvements.
• Maintain and enhance the test environment and infrastructure.

• Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
• Certifications: ISTQB or equivalent certification is preferred.
