PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
A. Product, GDP/GDPMD & Operations Inspections
1. Receiving Inspection (GDP / GDPMD)
- Verify product condition (e.g. damage, leakage)
- Check label integrity and legibility
- Confirm batch number and expiry information
- Observe transport condition (cleanliness, segregation)
2. Storage Condition Inspection (GDP / GDPMD)
- Verify storage location compliance
- Check segregation status (quarantine / rejected / saleable / class-based, where applicable)
- Observe FIFO / FEFO practices
- Assess cleanliness and orderliness of storage areas
3. Temperature & Environmental Verification
- Perform temperature spot-checks against system records
- Verify correct temperature data logger placement
- Check availability of alarm, excursion, and follow-up evidence
4. Picking, Packing & Handling Observation - Crossdock
- Observe handling practices during picking and packing
- Verify product protection during operations
- Ensure no cross-mixing or contamination risk
5. Dispatch / Outbound Inspection - Loading
- Verify packaging integrity
- Confirm label visibility and correctness
- Observe transport readiness prior to dispatch
6. Traceability & Recall Support (Execution Layer)
- Conduct physical verification of selected PLU movement paths
- Support mock recall exercises through floor and record verification
B. Safety Walkthrough & Inspection Support
- Assist in routine safety walkthrough inspections
- Verify fire extinguisher presence, accessibility, and tag status
- Observe housekeeping conditions and basic safety hazards
- Support PPE availability and compliance checks
- Promptly report unsafe conditions and observations
QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
A. Educational Background
- Minimum Diploma in any of the following disciplines:
- Quality Assurance / Quality Management
- Occupational Safety & Health
- Logistics / Supply Chain Management
- Engineering / Science
- Industrial or Manufacturing-related field
(Candidates with SPM may be considered if they possess strong relevant experience in warehouse, QA, or safety inspection environments.)
B. Working Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Warehouse operations (GDP / GDPMD / pharmaceutical / medical device environment preferred)
- Quality inspection, compliance checks, or audit support
- Safety inspection, site walkthrough, or operational monitoring
- Exposure to GDP, GDPMD, ISO 9001, or OSHA requirements is an advantage.
C. Technical Skills & Knowledge
- Basic understanding of:
- GDP / GDPMD principles (product integrity, storage condition, traceability)
- Temperature and environmental monitoring
- Inspection and checklist-based work
- Able to:
- Follow SOPs, checklists, and work instructions accurately
- Identify and record non-conformances objectively
- Take clear photographic evidence where required
- Basic computer skills:
- Microsoft Excel / Word
- Ability to handle inspection records and simple trackers
D. Soft Skills & Behavioral Requirements
- Detail-oriented and disciplined in record completion
- Comfortable with routine inspection and on-floor activities
- Able to follow instructions and escalation pathways
- Willing to learn and apply compliance requirements
- Good observation and reporting skills
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
E. Certificates & Training (Preferred, Not Mandatory)
- Basic OSHA awareness
- GDP or GDPMD awareness training
- First Aid or Fire Safety training (advantage)
- MHE awareness (if applicable to site)
Skills Required
- Diploma in Quality Assurance, Quality Management, Occupational Safety and Health, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Science, Industrial, or Manufacturing-related fields
- SPM with strong relevant warehouse, quality assurance, or safety inspection experience may be considered
- 1-3 years of experience in warehouse operations, quality inspection, compliance checks, audit support, safety inspection, site walkthroughs, or operational monitoring
- Basic understanding of GDP and GDPMD principles, including product integrity, storage conditions, and traceability
- Basic understanding of temperature and environmental monitoring
- Ability to follow SOPs, checklists, and work instructions accurately
- Ability to identify and objectively record non-conformances
- Basic Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word skills for inspection records and trackers
- Detail-oriented, disciplined, observant, and able to complete records accurately
- Comfortable performing routine inspections and on-floor warehouse activities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and follow escalation pathways
- Exposure to GDP, GDPMD, ISO 9001, or OSHA requirements
- Basic OSHA awareness training
- GDP or GDPMD awareness training
- First Aid or Fire Safety training
- Material Handling Equipment awareness, if applicable to the site
