Position Overview: The Tester ensures software applications function as expected by designing, executing, and analyzing test cases. They work closely with developers and stakeholders to identify and resolve defects, contributing to the delivery of high-quality products.
Responsibilities
1. Test Case Development
- Design and document test cases based on requirements.
- Create automated test scripts for repetitive scenarios.
- Ensure test cases cover all functional and non-functional requirements.
- Update test cases based on system changes.
2. Test Execution
- Perform manual and automated testing.
- Identify, document, and report bugs or anomalies.
- Validate resolved defects.
- Ensure testing aligns with the release schedule.
3. Collaboration
- Work with developers to understand system behavior.
- Participate in requirement reviews.
- Provide feedback to improve testability.
- Communicate test results to stakeholders.
