Position Summary:
The Quality Assurance Support position will provide entry-level, hands-on support to Quality personnel. Activities include but are not limited to release of raw materials, kitting batch record review, review of equipment maintenance records, filing and the archival process. In addition, this position is responsible for providing backup for the document and record control system. Extended work hours may be necessary in order to meet business demands.
Essential duties include but are not limited to:
Quality Function:
- Maintain filing and storage systems for document control, training records, and batch records for raw and finished product.
- Archival procedures – scanning paper records for archival (RMs, PNs, batch records, training binders, prior quality events)
- Inspect and release incoming raw material, critical components, and create release labels in accordance with individual specifications and standard operating procedures
- Perform batch record review and release of finished product and raw materials
- Perform batch record review of kitting records
- Monitor equipment calibration program to ensure timely and accurate completion of maintenance
- Review laboratory notebooks for completion in accordance with individual specifications and standard operating procedures
- Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 1-2 years of work experience
Other Required:
- This position requires excellent communication and accuracy of work
- Ability to meet deadlines and perform administrative functions
- Microsoft Office suite proficiency including Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SmartSheets
- Ability to organize tasks, work independently and adapt to changing priorities
- Ability to function in a minimally supervised environment with exceptional attention to detail required
- Demonstrated highly developed communication skills including well-developed writing skills and verbal and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to read, write, speak, fluently and comprehend the English language
