What We Offer
We help teams work smarter via the Chiri platform, leveraging our technology and playbooks by integrating AI into the way work actually happens.
Think of us as AI sherpas-guides who meet clients where they are, map the terrain, and help them reach the next ridge safely and sustainably. We partner with organizations to deploy AI in practical, secure, and scalable ways that create measurable business impact.
As a remote-first team, we move quickly, value ownership, and believe the best solutions come from curious people who enjoy solving hard problems together.
We're looking for a QA/QC Engineer to own quality across our web and mobile products, for both Chiri and our clients.
This role covers manual and integration testing, UI review, and code review across both web and mobile (iOS and Android) applications. We expect this person to come from a larger corporate QA/QC background, likely with 2-4 years of experience, and to work closely with engineers and PMs in a scrum environment to manage review backlogs. QA work tends to be heavily manual, so we're looking for someone who actively looks for ways to automate or streamline the repetitive parts of the job.
Our QA/QC team doesn't just catch bugs - they help solve business problems. Strong candidates can clearly articulate the impact of their work, whether that's reducing manual testing effort, catching issues before they reach production, or improving overall release quality.
You'll start by learning Chiri’s and its client's engineering patterns, tools, and QA processes, then progressively take on more complex testing scenarios and code review responsibilities. For candidates looking to grow into a development role, there's room to build on personal coding projects and take on more hands-on engineering work over time.
- Perform manual UI and functional testing across web and mobile (iOS and Android) applications.
- Conduct integration testing to validate that features and systems work together as expected.
- Review code changes for quality, consistency, and adherence to best practices.
- Maintain and prioritize QA review backlogs alongside PMs within a scrum framework.
- Identify and build out opportunities to automate or streamline repetitive manual testing work.
- Document and track bugs, edge cases, and regressions clearly for engineering follow-up.
- Participate in sprint ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, retros) as the QA representative.
- Collaborate and communicate efficiently with engineers, FDOs, PMs, and CPO to catch issues early and keep releases on track.
- Verify application performance, reliability, and UI consistency across devices and browsers.
- Write clear, repeatable test cases and testing documentation.
- Contribute to QA best practices and process improvements across the team.
- 2-4 years of QA/QC experience, ideally from a larger corporate environment.
- Hands-on experience manually testing both web and mobile applications (iOS and Android).
- 3 years of experience with integration testing and code review as part of an engineering team.
- 3 years of experience as PM working within scrum/agile teams, including managing and prioritizing review backlogs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot edge cases and UI inconsistencies.
- Ability to write clear, actionable bug reports and testing documentation.
- Solid understanding of QA processes, test planning, and engineering best practices.
- 3 years of experience owning testing from test-case design through release sign-off.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote environment.
- Has personal coding projects that show an interest in moving into development (we're happy to review these together as part of the process).
- Background testing SaaS products or customer-facing software platforms.
- Comfortable working in startup or high-growth environments.
- Uses AI tools to automate or streamline manual QA work - a strong signal of being a go-getter.
- Exposure to test automation frameworks such as Jest, Junit, Vitest, Pytest, precommit, Selenium, Playwright.
- Exposure to testing AI-powered applications, LLM features, or agent-based systems.
- Has taken part in customer meetings, requirements gathering, or solution design discussions.
- Demonstrated examples of reducing manual QA effort or improving release quality.
- Has contributed to test strategy or QA process improvement decisions.
- A fast-paced, fully remote environment with meaningful ownership.
- The opportunity to help define what “enterprise-ready AI” actually means.
- Access to cutting-edge AI tools, models, and internal playbooks.
- The chance to help clients achieve tangible outcomes - like 50% faster workflows - without compromising governance or trust.
- Direct collaboration with experienced engineers and company leadership.
- A culture that values curiosity, continuous learning, and pragmatic problem-solving.
