Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of the Quality Assurance PLM role include:
Strategy

• Develop quality assurance strategy to meet or exceed sprint release content and timing
• Understand the business/enterprise needs and anticipate user experience factors that may be evaluated during quality assurance
• Demonstrate ownership of quality assurance success and vision for defect-free production application
• Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills to find and resolve root causes
• Consider impacts to system performance during quality assurance and feedback or otherwise propose alternate approaches to maintain optimal performance

Innovation

• Assess potential of emerging technologies and innovation ideas

Relationships

• Provide input to the continual improvement of services
• Collaborate with team members and help the entire team be successful
• Contribute a positive attitude that encourages, helps and builds others up

Suppliers

• Evaluate, assess and rank solutions to support supplier selection and decisions
• Monitor supplier performance and compliance

Quality

• Ensure compliance to IT process management and continuous improvement system
• Maintain continuous improvement for IT processes within domain

Core Skills

• Plan and perform quality assurance - user stories, bug fixes, regression testing
• Document test findings and communicate with development team
• Develop and document test plans including regression test suites
• Document test scripts; detail test steps and acceptance criteria
• Demonstrate existing skills or express growth in developing test script to automate portions if the regression test suite
• Demonstrate existing skills or express growth in design and development including packaging code for release sprint deployment and subsequent testing

• Manage changes to requirements and level control of release sprints and code

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Business Intelligence analytics and reporting solutions according to specifications
• Understand database concepts - development, quality assurance, production environments, SQL databases, vault servers

Knowledge

• Identify and classify sources and security level of information
• Store, maintain, evaluate, retire information per careful information handling standards
