Position Description:

The Manager, Fund Accounting Quality Assurance works closely with the Senior QA Manager to act as the First Line of Defense support function for SEI EMEA’s Fund Accounting operations teams. It involves working toward a consistent, risk-mitigating control framework across Fund Accounting, resulting in improved client service levels and a scalable operating model.

What you’ll do:

  • Control Framework

  • Lead the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of the Fund Accounting QA framework covering documentation standards, controls and testing protocols

  • Ensure all critical processes have documented procedures with clearly defined key controls

  • Partner with Fund Accounting management to ensure controls are appropriately designed to mitigate operational and client risk.

  • Quality Assurance Testing

  • Perform periodic, structured testing of processes and key Fund Accounting controls in relation to NAV production including reconciliations, pricing and P&L reviews, to validate adherence to and effectiveness of the controls.

  • Incident Management

  • Review of incident reporting including root cause analysis, remediation and preventative measures

  • Idea generation and ongoing assessment and improvement of operational service model

  • Co-ordinate with technical solutions, risk and operations to proactively and effectively move resolutions forward

  • Compliance and Internal Audit Testing

  • Ensure any findings and recommendations where applicable are actioned by the relevant teams

  • Management Reporting

  • Provide clear and concise reporting on quality trends, recurring issues, and control effectiveness for SEI EMEA senior management

  • Culture

  • Champion a culture of high-quality execution and strong operational discipline across the organisation

What you will bring to the table:

  • Experienced QA, Fund Accounting, or Internal Audit professional with 7+ years in a financial services environment

  • Strong practical knowledge of Fund Accounting operations, including NAV production, pricing, reconciliations, and error management

  • Experienced in reviewing existing processes and implementing efficiencies and risk mitigation

  • Skilled in process mapping, control design, operational testing, and incident analysis

  • Knowledge of fund administration is an advantage
