Quality Assurance (QA) Lead

Role Overview 

BGB Group is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Lead to oversee the testing and quality assurance processes across digital marketing, content production, and omnichannel initiatives. This role ensures the flawless execution of digital assets, including websites, email campaigns, interactive media, and data-driven content, while maintaining compliance with regulatory and industry standards. 

The QA Lead will work closely with project managers, developers, designers, and strategists to implement best practices, optimize testing workflows, and drive continuous quality improvements. This position requires strong attention to detail, experience with automated and manual testing methodologies, and the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently. 

Key Responsibilities 

Quality Assurance Strategy & Execution 

  • Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies, frameworks, and testing plans for digital projects. 
  • Conduct manual and automated testing to validate functionality, performance, responsiveness, and usability across platforms. (e.g., Katalon, Selenium, TestRail). 
  • Establish and oversee compliance and regulatory testing for content in the healthcare and pharmaceutical space. 
  • Ensure all digital assets meet brand, accessibility (ADA, WCAG), and usability standards before launch. 

Testing & Issue Resolution 

  • Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure consistent user experience across platforms. 
  • Lead functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for digital experiences. 
  • Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Monday.com). 
  • Work with developers and project teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. 

Process Optimization & Best Practices 

  • Establish QA workflows and standard operating procedures to improve efficiency and consistency. 
  • Implement automated testing tools where applicable to streamline quality control. 
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for quality and continuously monitor improvements. 
  • Stay up to date on emerging QA methodologies, tools, and industry trends. 

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Coordination 

  • Work closely with project managers, developers, designers, and content teams to integrate QA into the production cycle. 
  • Provide QA training and best practice guidelines for internal teams. 
  • Collaborate with compliance and regulatory teams to ensure adherence to industry and legal requirements. 
  • Communicate quality metrics and status reports to stakeholders. 

Qualifications & Skills

Experience 

  • 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, testing, or digital production quality control. 
  • Experience working in marketing, digital agencies, or pharmaceutical/healthcare industries is preferred. 
  • Strong background in testing digital assets, web applications, and marketing content. 

Technical & Functional Skills 

  • Proficiency in QA methodologies, tools, and frameworks. 
  • Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, TestRail). 
  • Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), CMS platforms, and digital analytics. 
  • Strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG, ADA compliance). 
  • Experience using bug tracking and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Monday.com). 

Soft Skills & Leadership 

  • Strong attention to detail with an analytical mindset. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams. 
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and recommend solutions. 

Salary range: $80,000-$110,000

The salary range provided is for the Kansas City, MO -hybrid position, which requires occasional in-office presence, and represents what a potential hire may expect to earn in this role at BGB. For candidates in other locations, salary will be adjusted to reflect local market rates. Actual salary decisions will be influenced by several factors that we use to determine overall fit, including experience (both direct and indirect), education, training, demonstrated qualifications, and organizational need. Salary is only one component of the total rewards package offered at BGB Group.
