  • Define, elaborate, manage, and participate in quality tests
  • Coordinate and collaborate with the project teams.
  • Participate in Sprint Review meetings
  • Support the Project Managers of information systems to meet identified business needs and deliver high-quality products

Requirements

What do you need to succeed in this position?

  • Master's degree and 11 years of relevant work experience or a Bachelor's degree and 15 years of relevant work experience
  • At least 4 years of specific expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test suites for web applications
  • At least 2 years of specific expertise with at least one modern, asynchronous web testing framework such as Playwright or Cypress, including the configuration of cross-browser and parallel test execution, and the implementation of robust synchronisation strategies to minimize test flakiness
  • Demonstrated experience in architecting or significantly evolving automation frameworks using recognised patterns (for example, Page Object Model or Screenplay) and in separating test logic, test data, and configuration for maintainability and scalability
  • At least 3 years of experience testing REST/SOAP APIs, for solutions based on Java/Spring Boot backend, using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or equivalent, including positive/negative/boundary scenarios, validation of HTTP responses and payloads, authentication flows (OAuth2, JWT), and contract testing approaches (e.g., Pact).
  • At least 3 years of specific expertise with Jira for defect lifecycle management (creation, triage, tracking, reporting) and Zephyr or an equivalent Jira-integrated test management solution for test planning, execution, and traceability
  • At least 2 years of experience in applying Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) practices using Cucumber (Gherkin), including the definition and maintenance of business-readable feature files and corresponding automated step definitions, and the use of BDD artefacts as living documentation
  • Proven experience working within Agile delivery models (for example, Scrum or Kanban) as a Senior Tester, QA Lead, or QA Manager, including active participation in backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, and contribution to “shift-left” quality practices
  • At least 2 years of specific expertise integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions, including configuration of jobs, stages, test stages as quality gates, and reporting of test results
  • Capability to apply risk-based testing techniques and to define automation priorities based on risk, business value, and return on investment (ROI), avoiding low-value automation and “coverage for coverage’s sake.”
  • Ability to interpret and use meaningful quality metrics (for example, Defect Escape Rate, Defect Density, Mean Time to Resolution) rather than vanity metrics (for example, raw number of test cases executed)
  • Awareness of legacy process frameworks such as the Rational Unified Process (RUP) and their historical influence on current practices, sufficient to understand existing documentation and project artefacts that may have been produced using such frameworks
  • Good understanding of frontend technologies, in particular Angular-based applications (components, services, change detection, RxJS-based asynchronous flows), sufficient to design robust UI locators
  • Capability to design and manage test data and test environment strategies, including the use of ephemeral/disposable environments where appropriate, and to automate test data generation and cleanup via APIs or scripts to ensure isolated and repeatable tests
  • Capability to manipulate and validate structured payloads in JSON and XML formats, including schema validation (for example, against JSON Schema or XML Schema Definitions), using tools such as Altova XMLSpy where appropriate
  • Capability to establish and maintain a Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM), ensuring that all requirements, user stories, and use cases are mapped to corresponding test cases and, where applicable, automated scripts and BDD scenarios
  • Capability to apply high-quality standards and to produce clear, structured, and auditable documentation, including Test Plans, Test Strategies, test execution reports, defect reports, quality assessments, and lessons-learned reports, suitable for internal and external review and for audit purposes
  • Very good communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences, including the ability to explain complex quality and testing topics in a structured and understandable manner
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment, on multiple large projects
  • ISTQB Software Testing certification - Foundation Level or equivalent is mandatory
  • ISTQB Advanced Level certifications (for example, Test Analyst, Technical Test Analyst, Test Manager) or equivalent advanced testing certifications are nice to have
  • Agile-related certifications, for example, Professional Scrum Master (PSM), Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO), or other recognised Agile/Scrum certifications would be a plus
  • Automation / DevOps / CI/CD-related training or certifications, for example, training on Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or equivalent tools would be an advantage
  • Εxcellent use (C1) of the English language (verbal & written)
  • Ability to speak French will be an advantage
