Job Objective
As a QA Engineer, you will test and validate in-house SaaS and AI-enabled applications built on AWS cloud environments. This role requires strong ownership, attention to detail, and execution excellence to help deliver reliable, high-quality products.
Responsibilities
Perform manual and automated testing of client/server, web-based, and emerging AI-driven applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review requirements, specifications, and design documents.
Develop and execute test plans and test cases, including smoke, regression, functional, UAT, and deployment testing.
Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities with Dev and QA team members.
Execute manual test scripts, capture results, and maintain accurate test documentation in JIRA.
Identify, document, and track defects with clear, reproducible steps.
Ensure proper test coverage and identify potential risks in both web applications and AI-related flows.
Contribute to process improvements that strengthen the QA lifecycle.
Stay updated on SaaS, AI, cloud technologies, and modern testing methodologies.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
3–5 years of experience as a QA Engineer testing frontend and backend components.
Experience testing SaaS applications.
Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies, including AI and cloud platforms.
Experience with automation tools and scripting (web apps; AI testing is a plus).
Hands-on familiarity with AWS services (EC2, RDS, EKS, S3, etc.).
Strong ability to write and maintain detailed test plans, cases, and user stories.
Experience executing SQL queries for backend data validation.
Proven ability to identify, report, and track bugs with clarity.
Comfortable working in Agile/SCRUM environments with JIRA.
Solid understanding of SDLC and software testing best practices.
Basic programming knowledge (Python preferred) is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively across global teams.
Nice to Have
AWS certifications.
Experience validating AI/ML models.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines or DevOps environments.
