Quality Assurance Engineer

We are in search of a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our innovative team as our new bloqstar. In this role, you'll play a crucial role in our Cloud and Firmware teams with experience in API testing, functional testing, and automated testing. Your in-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies and creative and critical thinking skills will help us ensure the high quality of our smart locker solutions, meeting customer expectations and maintaining reliability, performance and adaptability. What you’ll be doing: 

• Create and map test scenarios

• Collaborate with the development team to ensure product quality

• Work directly with the team to promote a strong culture of quality

• Demonstrate proactive behavior in identifying risks and improvement opportunities

• Perform API tests to ensure their correct operation

• Identify, record, and track bugs

• Review system requirements, specifications, and technical documents

• Evaluate test results and collaborate with the development team to solve problems

• Provide feedback to the development team and offer suggestions for improvements

What you’ll bring to the table: 

• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and processes

• Experience with test case development

• Experience in manual functional testing

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies

• Knowledge of API tools (such as Postman, Swagger)

It would be great if you would also have:

• Experience in programming languages (such as JavaScript, TypeScript)

• Knowledge of automation frameworks (such as Playwright, Cypress)

• Firmware/hardware functional testing

• Experience with IoT devices

• Knowledge of version control systems and CI/CD automation using GitHub Actions

• Load and performance testing experience

• Startup / Scaleup experience
