Quality Assurance Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts and regression test suites
• Build reliable and maintainable automation solutions using Playwright, WebdriverIO, or similar frameworks
• Implement effective locator strategies (CSS, XPath, Playwright locators, etc.) for stable test execution
• Contribute to the adoption of AI-assisted and Agent-based testing approaches to improve productivity and coverage
• Automate functional, regression, and end-to-end testing scenarios
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing practices
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve test failures and flaky test cases
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC
• Participate in test planning, test case design, and automation framework improvements
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve test coverage, execution speed, and overall quality processes

Required Skills & Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in Test Automation
• Hands-on experience with WebdriverIO and/or Playwright
• Proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript / Python
• Experience working with locator strategies for dynamic web applications, shadow DOM, iframes, and modern UI frameworks
• Familiarity with AI-powered testing tools, AI Agents, or intelligent automation solutions
• Experience using Visual Studio Code with Copilot or similar AI-assisted development tools
• Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, DOM, APIs, browser behavior)
• Experience with test automation frameworks, assertions, and reporting tools
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with source control tools such as Git

Good to Have

• Experience in API automation testing (REST/GraphQL)
• Knowledge of CI/CD platforms (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
• Exposure to performance, accessibility, or security testing
• Experience with test data management, mocking, and service virtualization
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery models

• Good communication and stakeholder interaction abilities
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned deliverables
• Continuous learning mindset with interest in emerging testing technologies
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality software
