- Knowledge, skills & abilities: Technical expertise. Ability to identify and seek needed information/Research skills. Problem-solving skills. Quality engineering in AS9100 environment; mechanical aptitude; Six Sigma Green Belt; ASQ CQE. Experienced with SharePoint, MS Office, TipQA, Minitab. Skilled in reading engineering drawings and performing SPC, FMEA, MRB, Gauge R&R, audits, corrective actions, and supplier quality.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
- Requires regular movement throughout GD-OTS facilities.
- May need to stand for long periods of time.
- Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
- Work may require employee to work inside and outside with exposure to changing climate and/or operate machinery.
- Additional Responsibilities
Strong engineering fundamentals, GD&T knowledge, and statistical analysis skills. Proficient with test/measuring equipment and office software. Strong communication, independent judgment, adaptability, continuous improvement mindset, and practical problem‑solving abilities.
