The attenuation of each fiber is measured to verify the cable's transmission capability. During this automated testing time the inspector reviews data, completes paperwork, preps reels, cleans the work area, and assists other inspectors with verification of the cable print length.
- As needed, rolls the cable reels into the final testing area, verifies the factory order, reviews the customer specifications, and checks the cable print and paperwork.
