As a Quality Control Technician, you will perform laboratory tests to determine chemical and physical characteristics or composition of in-process batches, raw materials, and finished products for such purposes as quality control, process control, or product development.

Responsibilities:
- You will verify formula and component specifications on batch tickets.
- Set up, adjust, calibrate, and operate laboratory equipment and instruments such paint guns, mixers, viscometers, chemical balances, pH meters, gloss meters, solids analyzer, spectrophotometer, and other equipment.
- Test samples of manufactured products to verify conformity to specifications.
- Record test results on batch tickets and in our computer operating system.
- You will manage quality records and retain production batches.
- Evaluate retains of production batches in response to quality complaints.
- Perform routine production quality checks to ensure finished products are filled and packaged according to specifications.
- You will perform occasional quality audits of the laboratory and production work instructions to ensure compliance with our Quality Policy.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1+ years of manufacturing or lab experience; or technical education.
- Basic knowledge of mathematics and scientific principles.
- Proficient measuring skills and ability to accurately record data.
- Must be able to work 2nd or 3rd shift.
