Job Description
The Product Strategy Group within ETFs & Indexed Strategies is committed to providing superior client support while driving our product line’s strategic agenda for growth. This individual will be responsible for supporting the Invesco QQQ Trust Series 1 (ticker: QQQ), serving as a subject matter expert, developing relevant product and market insights. The Analyst will work cross-functionally with members of the core and factor ETF product team, Portfolio Management, Capital Markets, Sales and Marketing to position and support flows into QQQ.
Key Responsibilities:
- Become an internal expert on the NASDAQ 100 and equity asset class
- Develop an in-depth understanding of all elements of QQQ and its broader ecosystem.
- Develop strong knowledge of index methodology.
- Provide research, analysis, and thought leadership to position QQQ, and highlight trends and developments within the constituents of the NASDAQ 100.
- Work with more ETF Strategists to develop relevant insights and build competitive product positioning.
- Work with ETF Strategists to create and update product related research and content which includes marketing collateral, commentary, RFPs, due diligence collateral, and pitchbooks.
- Partner closely with ETF strategists and specialists to support our clients and ensure product integrity. Responsible for various projects as assigned by team leaders
Work Experience / Knowledge:
- 3 to 5 years of investment management and/or research experience preferred
- Solid understanding of equity investing, ETFs, or industry experience is strongly preferred
- Robust quantitative and data skills
- Experience with Bloomberg or Morningstar Direct, a plus
- Strong written communication skills
- Strong analytical capabilities and curiosity
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills; must be able to establish and maintain effective, cooperative working relationships with all departments and organizational levels
- Self-directed; must be comfortable with establishing objectives, then working independently to achieve them, seeking manager’s input as needed
- Ability to travel on occasion
Formal Education:
- Undergraduate degree in business, finance or related discipline required
- Advanced degree in a quantitative field or MBA advantageous
License/Registration/Certification:
- CFA designation advantageous
- SIE, Series 7 & 63 (obtained within 60 days)
The salary range for this position in New York City is $90,000 - $115,000 / year. The total compensation offered for this position includes salary and incentive pay and will vary based on skills, experience and location.
