Job Description:
- Participate in business requirements gathering and building end-to-end data visualization using Qlik.
- Leadership qualities and thoughtful implementation of Qlik best practices to deliver effective Qlik solutions to the users.
- Knowledgeable on all aspects of Qlik. Hands on experience designing, developing, testing and deploying visually appealing and easy-to-use dashboards and visualizations using Qlik and NPrinting, following best practices and standard guidelines.
- Provide data, BI application end-to-end support, and maintenance (Qlik Cloud/Qlik/QlikView/Nprinting and ad-hoc SQL support to end users)
- Collect data from various data sources, ETL, build optimized data model that provides actionable insights from a holistic perspective and effectively communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) and insights.
- Able to guide the team on all best practices related to BI data governance, including data modeling optimization techniques, app performance fine-tuning, intuitive dashboard/visualizations/report design, writing complex set analysis.
- Using Qlik extensions/Widgets/Mashups experience is a plus.
- Manage Qlik integration and reporting/publishing.
- Knowledge in Qlik cloud technologies and tools is a plus.
- Understand and document the business needs and ensure in the context of building BI solutions.
- Perform data validation and analysis to identify data quality issues and ensure data quality and accuracy.
- Must have solid hands-on experience in Qlik access security best practices, and large app capacity optimization techniques.
- Solid hands-on experience in Qlik app migration between different environments, skills in Qlik-CLI/PowerShell scripts
- Develop and implement ETL using Qlik tools/Qlik scripts.
- Develop reports in NPrinting designer, develop and deliver Qlik based BI applications as per the requirements.
- Experience with Qlik mashup services and Qlik customization.
- Skills/knowledge in querying/extracting data from Snowflake is a plus.
- Able to create Qlik Management Console (QMC) tasks in Qlik, monitor Qlik `services, run reload jobs, grant and revoke user access, and troubleshoot reload failures by reading and analyzing the reload logs.
- Understand the current state BI landscape and empower users with data self-service reporting.
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement or business growth.
- Optimize data models and queries for performance and efficiency, ensuring fast and accurate data retrieval.
- Optimize reports to ensure reports run with the fastest response time as possible, work with other groups to optimize reports.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability through data profiling, cleansing, and transformation.
- Keep updated with the latest Qlik features, techniques, and best practices to continuously enhance the BI environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide training, support, and guidance on Qlik usage and best practices.
- Guide and mentor junior developers, create and maintain technical documentation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, highly motivated, quick learner, and has attention to detail.
- Having knowledge of Cloud Computing/Technologies is preferred.
- Qlik certification is a plus.
- A strong analytical and logical mindset is preferred.
- Strong communication skills
