Qlik BI Developer
Position SummaryTakeuchi is hiring a Qlik Developer who designs, develops, deploys, and supports scalable business intelligence and analytics solutions using Qlik Sense and related technologies. This role partners with business stakeholders to translate reporting and data needs into reliable data models, dashboards, visualizations, and self-service analytics. The developer also improves application performance, maintains technical documentation, troubleshoots data and platform issues, and promotes Qlik development and governance best practices. This is an on-site position in Pendergrass, GA.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with business stakeholders to gather, clarify, and translate functional, technical, and reporting requirements into effective Qlik solutions.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Qlik Sense applications, dashboards, reports, and visualizations using sound UX/UI and data-visualization practices.
- Build and optimize data models, load scripts, QVD layers, transformations, and ETL processes that integrate data from multiple sources.
- Develop advanced calculations and analytics using set analysis, variables, expressions, and reusable development standards.
- Write and tune SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects; work with relational databases and data-warehouse structures.
- Monitor and improve application, reload, and front-end performance, reliability, scalability, and data quality.
- Investigate and resolve application defects, reload failures, access issues, and data discrepancies while providing responsive support to users.
- Collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams, communicate progress and risks, and manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Must have at least two years of hands-on experience developing solutions in Qlik Sense Cloud. This includes Qlik system administration, Qlik Cloud, Qlik Application design and Automation, dashboarding, reporting, and deployment.
- Strong SQL skills and working knowledge of relational database design, data warehousing, ETL and business intelligence concepts.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and Snowflake.
- Programming or scripting experience with Python, JavaScript, shell scripting, or similar technologies is a plus.
- Familiarity with web integration, APIs, and DevOps practices.
- Experience integrating, transforming, validating, and troubleshooting data from multiple sources.
- Proven analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts and data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, organize competing priorities, meet deadlines, and provide professional customer support.
