Position Summary:

The QC Analyst will be responsible for performing audits of the various functional areas within the organization, including but not limited to: State Changes, Releases, Collateral Management, Repossessions, and Post Funding for both retail and lease portfolios, to ensure adherence with SFS policies and regulatory guidelines. Detects errors and omissions in the various title and post funding processes. Contributes to quality control reporting to help identify areas for improvement.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze account documents selected at random to include title releases, state changes, collateral, repo’s, SOC’s, Unwinds, and VIN corrections according to federal and regulatory guidelines.
  • Review and ensure the accuracy of completed documents, ensures maintenance and notes are completed in various systems.
  • Communicate with all teams within the organization to resolve any discrepancies.
  • Use policy, procedures, and knowledge of the business to resolve issues while following pre-established quality policies and guidelines.
  • Make suggestions for process improvements.
  • Maintain familiarity with Titles/ Post Funding policy and procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality due to regular access to specified personal information of consumers, including, but not limited to, Social Security numbers and dates of birth.
  • Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years auto finance experience specific to funding or titles processing.

Education:

  • High school diploma and/or GED.

Skills Required:

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with close attention to detail.
  • Intermediate MS Office skill in Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interface work autonomously and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications Preferred:

  • Experience - (6) months to 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Overtime required – month-end volume increases, and other tasks/assignments may require overtime as needed.
  • Travel 0-10% - on an as needed basis.
  • Must have reliable transportation and live within a commutable distance to the following city: Houston, TX
