We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer with expertise in automation testing to join our dynamic team.
We are looking for a QA Engineer with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in automation testing using Playwright and Rest Assured. The ideal candidate will also have experience with Azure DevOps to facilitate continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts, ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and create comprehensive test plans and automated tests.
- Develop and execute automated testing scripts/code per standards using Playwright and Rest Assured automation tools.
- Participate in code reviews for automation scripts and contribute to best practices for testing and quality assurance.
- Participate in test data management automation efforts.
- Integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies, leveraging automation and innovative testing products and solutions.
- Work independently and as part of an agile sprints in a fast-paced environment, delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines in globally distributed teams.
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience with test automation tools like Playwright for Web application/API testing and Rest Assured for API testing. Experience with programming languages such as Java, TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience working with and testing relational databases.
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps for continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
- Critical thinking skills for thorough analysis of system requirements and test scenarios.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with multiple teams across the organization.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines in globally distributed teams.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Basic understanding and experience with container technologies (Docker & Kubernetes).
- 3-5 years of experience in validating data across various data platforms/Interfaces Experience in ETL Tools like IICS, Informatica Power Center or similar.
- Ability to analyze complex data mapping documents and convert them to End to End (E2E) test cases. Knowledge of Data Profiling processes. Knowledge of various industry ETL scheduler tools.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools.
