Summary:
The Senior Quality Analyst is tasked with ensuring and enhancing product or service quality through comprehensive testing, analysis, and quality assurance procedures. This role involves leading a team to set and uphold quality standards,dentify improvement opportunities, and implement solutions to boost product/service reliability and customer satisfaction.

What are my responsibilities?

• Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of QA professionals, offering guidance, support, and training to enhance testing methodologies.

• Develop comprehensive test strategies and plans, including test scenarios, cases, and scripts, aligned with project requirements and timelines.

• Oversee the quality assurance process, ensuring adherence to established standards, procedures, and best practices.

• Coordinate and execute various testing activities, including functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and stakeholders, to ensure effective communication of quality requirements.

• Identify, track, and prioritize defects and issues, working with teams to resolve them efficiently while maintaining detailed documentation and reporting.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the QA team by implementing new tools, methodologies, and processes to enhance overall quality and efficiency.

• Assess project risks associated with quality and formulate strategies to mitigate them, ensuring product stability and reliability.

Experience and skill set:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance/testing roles, with a proven track record in leading and managing a team; prior leadership experience is an advantage.

• In-depth knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and best practices.

• Proficiency in various testing techniques, including black-box testing, regression testing, and performance testing.

• Experience with API testing using Postman for both third-party and inter-project testing.

• Strong proficiency in quality assurance tools and software, such as JIRA, Selenium, and TestRail.

• Relevant certifications in quality assurance (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.
