Role Summary:
As a Senior QA Tester at Founders Workshop, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our innovative software products. This position requires a meticulous and analytical approach to testing, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to excellence. You will work closely with development teams to identify, report, and troubleshoot defects, ensuring that all aspects of our software meet rigorous quality standards.
What You'll Do:
- Conduct Comprehensive Testing: Design and execute detailed test plans and test cases to ensure software functionality meets specifications.
- Quality Assurance Best Practices: Apply industry-leading testing methodologies to ensure the integrity and quality of all software products.
- Collaborative Testing Efforts: Work closely with development teams to identify bugs and issues, ensuring they are addressed prior to release.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in ongoing process refinement and improvement to enhance software quality and tester efficiency.
- Ensure Product Excellence: Maintain rigorous quality control through systematic tests and quality assurance practices to uphold our commitment to deliver superior software consistently.
Who You Are:
- 3-5 years of experience in quality control testing with web, mobile, and API applications.
- 1-2 years of experience in writing requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Knowledge of functional testing and integration testing.
- Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Confluence, Jira, and AIO).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
- Experience with Agile methodology is an advantage.
- Bonus points if you have worked in a startup or owned your own business
- Experienced QA Professional: Bring a solid background in software testing with a strong understanding of QA methodologies and tools.
- Adaptable: Quick to adapt to new technologies and changing project requirements, ensuring smooth transitions.
