Job Profile: Software QA Engineer

Are you interested in web testing and test automation? You could potentially be our future colleague, responsible for developing and executing manual and automated tests for GEN core business systems.

Responsibilities:

• You will participate in team activities such as analysis, test case creation, testing, automation, and internal improvements.
• Engage in manual end-to-end testing for cross-team development activities.
• Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Validate new features, ideas, and bug fixes.

Requirements:

• Familiarity with testing tools and methodologies.
• Experience in testing API endpoints (HTTP, JSON, XML, etc.).
• Proactive approach, ability to find solutions, and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in English to discuss requirements and solutions with English-speaking colleagues.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies (SCRUM, KANBAN).
• Good analytical skills.

Knowing these is an advantage:

• Postman/Newman, Swagger UI.
• RESTful API principles.
• Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB).
