About the Job
We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer – Playwright with 5+ years of experience in software testing and test automation. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Salesforce automation using the Playwright framework, along with strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, automation framework development, UI/API testing, CI/CD integration, and end-to-end test automation.
What You'll Do
    • Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks and test scripts using Playwright, with strong focus on Salesforce application automation.
    • Automate Salesforce UI, functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end test scenarios, including cross-browser testing.
    • Develop reusable automation components, Page Object Models, utilities, fixtures, test data, and reporting mechanisms to improve automation coverage and maintainability.
    • Integrate Playwright automation suites with CI/CD pipelines, analyze failures, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve test stability and execution efficiency.
    • Collaborate with developers, QA teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders in Agile environments while contributing to Salesforce automation strategy, framework enhancements, and continuous improvement.
What We Seek In You
    • 5+ years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation with strong hands-on experience in Salesforce automation using Playwright and JavaScript/TypeScript.
    • Proven experience designing automation frameworks from scratch with strong knowledge of Playwright locators, assertions, fixtures, hooks, browser contexts, POM, parallel execution, and cross-browser testing across Chromium, Firefox, and WebKit.
    • Strong understanding of Salesforce application testing, including UI, functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, and API testing, with experience validating application workflows and integrations.
    • Strong knowledge of REST API testing, HTTP methods, status codes, authentication, JSON, request/response validation, along with hands-on SQL/database validation and backend testing.
    • Experience with Git and CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps, with good understanding of STLC, SDLC, defect lifecycle, and Agile/Scrum practices.
    • Experience with Docker, cloud-based test environments, Playwright HTML Reports/Allure, and version control workflows including branching, pull requests, and code reviews.
    • Strong analytical, debugging, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and mentor junior QA automation engineers.
Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience with Selenium, Cucumber/BDD, performance/load testing, cloud testing platforms, and containerized test execution.
    • Exposure to modern QA engineering and AI-assisted testing practices.

Skills Required

  • 5+ years in software testing and test automation with strong Salesforce automation using Playwright and JavaScript/TypeScript
