RESPONSIBILITIES
Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC)
Building safety awareness & observing safety adherence in all operations of QA/QC to ensure zero incidence by regular safety talks & safety rounds with team members.
Reviewing and controlling raw materials’ quality compliance to ensure the right raw material input into the production process.
Raw material new vendor development to reduce dependability on single supplier by assessing new vendor’s specification & process capabilities, sample analysis, trials at lab/plant.
Reviewing and controlling FG quality in compliance to ensure the right product is produced as per customers’ requirements by evaluating FG quality, its consistency & process capabilities.
Planning, executing all improvement activities for product development, quality improvement of all grades of H2O2 & PAA by conducting lab trials & coordinating with plant team for plant modifications, plan trials & ending with commercial production.
Train & guide team for SPC analysis, identifying improvement opportunities & implementation.
Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to achieve quality KPIs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers and internal & external stakeholders to address quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Product specific regulatory approvals as per customer need and application.
Evaluate the annual performance of direct reports, identify gaps/OFIs for individuals help them overcome and develop people. Drive quality culture and develop people.
Plan & execute CAPEX projects for Lab. Control OPEX (R&M) for Lab.
Integrated Management System (IMS)
Lead as management representative and ensure compliance with all systems (ISO9001-2015, ISO14001-2015, ISO45001-2018, ISO13485-2016, Halal, HACCP, GHP, GMP, KOSHER, FDA, DLD, DOF etc.).
Lead and coordinate internal and external audit activities. Closure of audit recommendations.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality control procedures.
Customer Interface
New customer approvals to increase sales of specialty products by examining customers spec, dispatch control (ship to control) compared with internal product spec & process capabilities, packaging requirements & packaging capabilities etc.
Lead quality meetings, root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for quality incidents or customer complaints.
Familiar with 8D methodology and FMEA. Lead quality surveys, audits, clarifications. Aligning with customers change management system requirements.
Implementation of customer specific CIP’s as per quality road map.
Cleanroom metrology capability analysis and customer qualification.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree / Master’s degree in chemistry or chemical engineering.
15-20 years working experience in chemical/pharma/FMCG industries as Quality Control Manager.
Strong communication, collaboration, and networking abilities.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Proficiency in Microsoft tools, Minitab, Six Sigma., etc.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a global, multicultural environment.
