QA Program Summer Student

The student reports to the Director QA –Management assessments and TPO.

Under the direct supervision of the Director QA –Management assessments and TPO, the QA student will be a key member of the QA team who will assist in the planning, implementation and monitoring of work progress in preparation of quality procedures and forms.

Work location – Candu Energy Offices at SP1 F3 Quality Neighborhood, or Pickering office (1340 Pickering Parkway, ON).

Location – Mississauga, ON

Your role within the team:

• Support the QA team in participating in regular meetings.
• Track the deliverables and actions and follow up for closure.
• Assist in and support maintain the requalification Program plan and adjust following internal milestones.
• Coordinate communication and meetings with internal business units.
• Support the QA team in development of internal process documents as required.
• Developing progress reports and organizing meetings.
• Developing presentation and back up documents to support QA team.
• Data entry, information management, data capture using spreadsheets, MS Office and SharePoint.

• Engineering, science, or business management background would be an asset.
• Ability and strong motivation to collaborate in multi-disciplinary environment.
• Ability to read and process large volume of information.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or as a member of a team.
• A solid understanding of MS Office, MS Excel, MS Visio is an asset.
• Conversant to use remote collaboration tools such as MS Teams, Video Conferencing etc.
• Detailed orientated with the ability to balance changing workload.
• Superior written and oral communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated with a high level of energy and enthusiasm to contribute.
