Objective:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced QA Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring software quality by implementing agile methodologies, automating tests, and developing robust test plans. You will work in a collaborative DevOps environment, utilizing agile development best practices and ensuring products are delivered with the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Actively participate in agile ceremonies (Scrum/Kanban) and collaborate closely with development and product teams to ensure quality throughout all phases of the software lifecycle.
• Develop and execute automated tests using programming languages ​​such as JavaScript, Python, or Java, as well as automation tools and frameworks.
• Design detailed test plans and automated regression strategies to ensure new features do not affect product stability.
• Identify, document, and track defects and quality issues, working collaboratively with development teams to resolve them.
• Participate in quality management in DevOps environments, facilitating continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) to ensure an agile and efficient workflow.
• Ensure adequate test coverage at all levels (unit, integration, functional, and performance).
• Coordinate with stakeholders (internal and external) to prioritize testing, resolve concerns, and ensure alignment on quality objectives.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with technical and non-technical teams to provide updates on testing progress and results.

• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Systems or similar.
• Skills and Competencies:
• Solid experience with agile methodologies, especially Scrum and Kanban.
• Experience with automated testing and scripting in at least one of the following languages: JavaScript, Python, or Java.
• Knowledge and experience implementing tests in DevOps environments.
• Ability to design robust test plans and automated regression strategies.
• Experience implementing continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) processes.
• Leadership and effective communication skills to coordinate with stakeholders and technical teams.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines without compromising quality.
• Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cypress, among others.
