CMT is looking for a collaborative, customer-committed, and creative QA Engineer I, Customer Solutions who wants to join us in making roads safer by making drivers better!
Responsibilities:- Advocate for and ensure a high quality user experience across the entire CMT product base
- Follow standards and procedures for measuring product quality and release readiness
- Help create and maintain test plans, scenarios, scripts and procedures based upon business requirements
- Perform functional, application, and regression tests to ensure current products meet design specifications
- Perform ad hoc and exploratory testing throughout the entire software development life cycle
- Review and provide feedback on product feature requirements and designs
- Execute tests, isolate bugs, troubleshoot, and log defects through to defect closure
- Work with cross-functional teams to explore requirements, designs, and implementations in order to execute acceptance tests and develop quality plans
- Identify and execute automation for common test cases with guidance from senior team members
- Execute functional test scripts and regression testing using automated tools
- Work directly with customers to help execute end to end testing and understand, diagnose, and resolve issues
- Complete any additional tasks as they arise
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience and/or certification in a related field
- Minimum 1 year of relevant industry experience in QA, including internships, academic projects, or related coursework
- Analytical mindset and willingness to dig into problems
- Basic familiarity with quality assurance in one or more domains (e.g., mobile, web, backend), or eagerness to learn
- Experience executing functional and regression test scripts, both manual and automated
- Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks, or a strong interest in learning automation
- Comfortable working with regular guidance from senior engineers
- Strong collaboration skills, with experience working across cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work directly with internal and external stakeholders
- Curiosity about quality metrics, release readiness criteria, and test planning best practices

Base Salary Range
- The base salary range for this position is: 10,583,500 to 13,229,400 HUF. This range is specifically for Budapest, Hungary.
