QA Engineer

We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with development teams, drive the quality agenda, and help shape effective QA strategies across web and mobile applications. • Work closely with software development teams to implement a shift-left testing approach, ensuring quality is embedded throughout the development lifecycle.

• Plan, execute, and document tests for web and mobile applications.

• Propose and define effective QA strategies and solutions tailored to project needs.

• Take strong ownership of QA activities, demonstrating self-reliance and adaptability in tackling a wide range of testing challenges.

• Maintain direct communication with clients, building strong professional relationships and collaborating on quality objectives.

• Explore and experiment with AI/ML-driven testing practices, such as visual verification, predictive defect analysis, and automated data generation.

• Ensure some level of overlap with PST time zone to facilitate communication and collaboration.

• At least 3 years of experience as a QA Engineer.

• Experience working closely with development teams, including a shift-left testing approach.

• Hands-on experience testing both web and mobile applications.

• Experience proposing and shaping QA solutions.

• Strong ownership and self-reliance in daily work; a versatile and adaptive professional comfortable wearing multiple QA hats.

• Excellent communication skills and comfort with direct client contact to build strong, professional relationships.

• Interest in exploring how AI/ML can transform traditional testing practices, including visual verification, predictive defect analysis, and automated data generation.

• Ability to work with some level of overlap in the PST time zone.

• Experience with at least one end-to-end test automation framework (such as Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or Maestro), in either web or mobile domains.

• Basic knowledge of at least one programming language (TypeScript or Python preferred).

• Hands-on experience with AI tools to enhance testing workflows; interest in prompt engineering or AI-assisted evaluation processes.

• Basic experience with API testing (manual and/or automated), including REST APIs.
