Job Summary:
As a QA Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Working closely with fellow QA Engineers, and developers, you will contribute to both manual and automated testing processes to maintain high software standards. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving defects.

Key Responsibilities:
Test Design & Execution:
- Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases, test scripts, and test plans to ensure software quality.
- Identify test scenarios based on software requirements and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Software Testing:
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to validate software functionality and system performance.
- Assist in verifying software compliance with business requirements, industry standards, and company quality guidelines.
Defect Tracking & Issue Resolution:
- Identify, document, and report software defects using issue-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
- Work with developers to troubleshoot, reproduce, and resolve issues in test environments.
- Verify bug fixes and updates before production deployment.
Automation & Continuous Improvement:
- Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of automated test suites, frameworks, and testing tools to enhance efficiency.
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive test cases for increased accuracy and speed.
Collaboration & Reporting:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand project goals and testing needs.
- Analyze and interpret test results, prepare detailed test reports, and communicate findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Assist in diagnosing and resolving issues reported by users and internal teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, software testing, or a related role.
- Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).
- Experience with manual testing of web and mobile applications.
- Familiarity with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or Playwright is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, or Zephyr).
- Basic knowledge of programming/scripting languages (Python, Java, JavaScript, etc.) is a plus.
- Experience in API testing using tools like Postman is a plus.
- Understanding of database queries (SQL, NoSQL) for validating test cases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining quality.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated with a passion for learning and improving QA processes.
