The Opportunity

We are looking for a talented QA Engineer to join our growing team and play a vital role in ensuring the quality of our products. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, identifying and reporting bugs, and working collaboratively with developers to ensure timely resolutions.

We are looking for someone who can drive innovation within our testing facility, streamline processes and develop standards, researching new tools, techniques, and processes.

You will be well organised in your approach to the design, prioritisation, development, and execution of testing activities. Have experience in test automation and the maintenance thereof. Be proficient in the identification, recording and documentation of bugs within software for the software team.

Responsibilities:

  • Working alongside the development team, you will be experienced in writing well-structured test plans and test cases. Coordinating with Stakeholders and Product owners you will be efficient in reviewing and contributing to software requirements specification documents as well as providing feedback on technical design documents.
  • You will be working with Product Managers/UX designers and the rest of the team, to ensure user needs are well understood and documented.
  • You will be experienced in writing test scenarios and test cases to ensure new features are thoroughly tested.
  • You will perform thorough regression testing and monitoring throughout the development lifecycle and identify any potential issues that users might encounter; recommending improvements to the software to enhance user experience.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Previous experience in software engineering and or software application testing / quality assurance
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Perform Manual and Automated testing processes
  • Experience working within an Agile/SCRUM development process
  • Knowledgeable with open-source testing tools
  • Experience with developing automated testing (FE and BE)

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience with performance testing
  • Security testing knowledge an advantage
  • Experience working in the cyber security industry
  • Working knowledge of SCRUM
  • Familiar with DevOps methodologies
  • Experience with automated test suites (Cypress)
  • ISTQB foundations or similar
