Overview: 

We are looking for a QA Engineer with a comprehensive background in testing and quality assurance processes to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with tools such as Cypress, JMeter, JavaScript, Browserstack, Gherkin, GitHub, and Jira. You should be proficient in functional, regression, and performance testing across desktop, mobile, and web platforms, with solid experience in API testing using Postman. Familiarity with Agile methodology and a passion for test automation are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct functional testing for desktop, mobile, and web applications to ensure optimal feature functionality and quality.

Perform regression and performance testing using JMeter to ensure application stability and scalability across various environments.

Utilize Cypress to write and execute end-to-end automated tests, ensuring continuous integration and delivery.

Implement and maintain JavaScript-based testing scripts within Cypress for frontend testing, ensuring responsiveness and reliability across different devices and browsers.

Leverage Browserstack for comprehensive cross-browser and cross-platform testing to maintain consistency across multiple environments.

Create clear and structured test cases using Gherkin syntax to bridge communication between development and QA teams.

Conduct API testing using Postman to validate web services and backend integrations.

Manage and track bugs, test cases, and testing progress using Jira and GitHub for effective collaboration.

Collaborate closely with Agile development teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products.

Support the design and implementation of test automation frameworks and strategies to enhance testing efficiency.

Requirements:

Strong expertise in Cypress for automated end-to-end testing, with a deep understanding of JavaScript for writing test cases and scripts.

Experience with JMeter for performance and load testing.

Proven experience with Browserstack for cross-browser and cross-device testing.

Proficiency in writing test cases using Gherkin syntax to ensure alignment with development and product teams.

Familiarity with GitHub for version control and collaboration.

Experience with Jira for bug tracking and project management.

Extensive experience in web services/API testing using Postman.

Hands-on experience in functional testing for both desktop and mobile applications.

Strong experience in regression and performance testing to ensure application reliability.

Familiarity with Agile methodology and the software development lifecycle.
