You will join a long-term digital transformation project for an international client from the logistics and transportation sector, specializing in rail wagon leasing and working with large enterprise customers, including Fortune 500 companies.

The project is focused on building a modern custom ERP system tailored to the client’s specific business needs. Since no ready-made market solution fully supports this niche domain, the system is being designed and developed from the ground up.

The client is currently using a mix of legacy systems and SAP, and the new platform will gradually modernize and streamline core operational processes. The discovery phase is almost completed, and the first development phase is planned to continue until mid-2027, with expected further continuation afterwards.

We are looking for QA professionals who combine analytical thinking with a practical approach to software quality.

Depending on seniority, this role may suit:

• Regular QA Engineers who can independently test features, support regression activities, and gradually grow in automation.
• Senior QA Engineers who can take ownership of QA processes, improve test coverage, support automation strategy, and mentor others.

• Design, create, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
• Develop and maintain automated tests for selected application areas.
• Support end-to-end testing, regression testing, functional testing, integration testing, and acceptance testing.
• Identify, report, and track defects in cooperation with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders.
• Verify bug fixes and support release validation activities.
• Analyze business and technical requirements to define proper test coverage.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, business analysts, and other QA engineers.
• Contribute to improving QA processes, testing standards, and overall product quality.
• Support test data preparation and test environment validation.
• Depending on seniority, take ownership of QA areas, propose improvements, and support less experienced team members.

• Commercial experience as a QA Engineer / Software Tester in manual and/or automation testing.
• Experience in testing web applications, APIs, backend services, and business-critical systems.
• Good understanding of software testing methodologies, test design techniques, and QA best practices.
• Ability to create and maintain test cases, test scenarios, test plans, and defect reports.
• Experience with manual functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and acceptance testing.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools or frameworks.
• Practical knowledge of API testing, for example using Postman, Swagger, REST clients, or similar tools.
• Basic understanding of SQL and ability to verify data in relational databases.
• Experience working with issue tracking and test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Xray, TestRail, or similar.
• Familiarity with Agile / Scrum software delivery processes.
• Practical experience using AI-powered assistants (e.g. Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to improve productivity, quality, or decision-making in software delivery.
• Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required.

• Experience with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, WebdriverIO, or similar automation frameworks.
• Experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, C#, Java, or another programming language used in test automation.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or Microsoft technology stack.
• Experience applying GenAI in a more structured way within the SDLC, including defined workflows, prompt patterns, or tool integrations embedded into daily work.
• Interest in and familiarity with emerging AI-driven practices (e.g. agent-based workflows, automation patterns, AI-augmented development), with a willingness to explore and experiment beyond standard approaches.
