QA Engineer II

As part of our continuous growth, we are seeking a QA Automation Engineer to enhance our testing processes and automation frameworks within our MES-M line of business.  The QA Automation Engineer will focus on test planning, automation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong automation testing background, hands-on experience with SpecFlow and C#, and a passion for improving QA processes.
What will you be doing:

• Develop and execute detailed test plans covering functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage and minimize defects in production releases and upgrades.
• Regularly update test cases to align with evolving product features.
• Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve potential issues early in the development cycle.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain automated test cases using C#, SpecFlow, JUNIT, TestNG and Selenium.
• Optimize the test automation framework to maximize efficiency and reduce manual efforts.
• Maintain a robust, stable automation suite that ensures consistent execution across releases.
• Identify and implement improvements, including new tools and framework enhancements.
• Periodically review and update automated test cases to keep them effective as the product evolves.
• Actively participate in daily stand-ups, release planning, and retrospectives, providing clear testing updates and highlighting risks.
• Work closely with developers to resolve defects through detailed, actionable bug reports.
• Lead knowledge-sharing sessions on automation updates and testing best practices.
• Document QA processes, frameworks, and best practices for internal reference.
• Mentor junior QA engineers, offering guidance on test execution, bug reporting, and automation.

What you bring:

• Proven experience in QA automation with C#, SpecFlow, and Selenium.
• Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and best practices.
• Experience in test planning, execution, and defect management.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating test automation into build processes.
• Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.

Nice-to-have:

• SaaS applications
• Medical device/healthcare industry (validation, IQ/OQ/PQ)
• SQL for test data setup and validation
• Azure Web Apps, Azure AD, Azure DevOps
• Test Management tools like Azure Test Plans, TestRail, or HP ALM
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and MES/MOM systems
