QA Engineer - Base44

Base44 is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Manual QA Engineer to join our growing team. As a Manual QA Engineer, you will be on the front lines, ensuring product excellence, troubleshooting complex backend issues, and contributing to the overall success of our platform. You'll have a significant impact on our users and the growth of our product. In this role, you will:

• Own end-to-end progression and regression testing: You will design and execute regression and progression tests across our backend and frontend systems, taking full responsibility for the stability of features from the database level to the final UI.
• Master the root cause: When reporting bugs, you’ll go beyond the surface by assisting with reproduction and deep-dive debugging to understand the underlying technical issues, ensuring every fix provided by R&D is thoroughly verified.
• Solve complex technical challenges: You will work on a cutting-edge, AI-powered platform to develop creative and efficient testing solutions, proactively bringing new ideas to the table to drive innovation and scalability in our quality processes.
• Deliver tangible impact: Your work will reach millions of users daily, ensuring that every feature we ship meets the highest standards of quality and performance.
• Expand your technical horizons: You’ll grow your expertise by learning from top-tier engineers and gaining exposure to new domains, including modern development practices and AI integration.

• 1+ years of proven experience in Quality Assurance.
• You are comfortable performing deep analysis and research on intricate systems - you don't just find bugs; you understand why they exist.
• You have the ability to leverage LLMs and AI tools to accelerate test case creation, uncover obscure edge cases, and streamline your reporting and executing process.
• You have experience using (or implementing) modern, AI-driven testing tools to move faster and smarter.
• You have a "must-fix" attitude and the problem-solving skills to make critical decisions independently in a fast-moving environment.
• You see the big picture, understanding how technical architecture, business logic, and user experience all connect.
• You are an expert at designing and executing tests for complex systems, whether through manual deep-dives or automated flows.
• You have exceptional time management skills and a track record of meeting tight deadlines without ever compromising on quality.
• You have a relentless internal drive for excellence, always looking for ways to improve both the product and our internal processes.
