We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of testing methodologies, hands-on experience with test case design, and the ability to identify and report defects effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, review, and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
- Perform manual testing and/or automation testing based on project needs.
- Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, Bugzilla, etc.
- Conduct functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and UAT testing.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts to ensure quality deliverables.
- Validate API responses using tools such as Postman or Swagger.
- Work with automation frameworks (if applicable) such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and best testing practices.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Defect Lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience in manual testing (web/mobile).
- Understanding of API testing.
- Experience with test management and bug tracking tools.
- Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation.
- Familiarity with automation tools (based on requirements).
- Experience with automation frameworks (Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Cucumber, Cypress, Playwright).
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Exposure to Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
