Our Tech Stack

Our mobile and web app ecosystem hosted on Amazon AWS requires a multi-faceted approach to testing. We use a combination of BrowserStack and Appium for mobile (Android and iOS), Playwright and Selenium for web and API testing. Our APIs are built in C# .NET and we use SQL Server and MongoDB as our primary databases.  We use CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps as well as monitoring solutions such as New Relic and Sumo Logic.

AI-powered tools such as GitHub Copilot allow us to accelerate our development and testing pipeline and improve the software delivery cycle. By continuously evaluating emerging AI technologies, we identify tools that provide transformational value for our business partners and development teams.

 
Responsibilities:
  • Design and maintain a library of automated and manual test cases
  • Conduct API and end to end testing of web and mobile apps as part of quality assurance
  • Track and improve test automation coverage to minimize defect escape rates
  • Identify and utilize AI powered tools and practices that enhance the team to deliver short- and long-term value
  • Integrated automated testing in CI/CD pipelines to support rapid software delivery
  • Embrace a feedback cycle with direct communication with users and stakeholders to support and enhance our suite of custom applications
  • Engage in regular collaboration with members from different teams to enhance teamwork and ensure the success of our projects
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement
  • Commitment to continuous self-improvement through learning of cutting-edge tech and tools to keep our tech stack ahead of the curve
  • Be a quality steward taking ownership of your projects
  • Off-hours support as required
 
What we are Seeking:
  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 2 - 5 years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance, including testing web and mobile applications
  • 2+ years of experience of utilizing automated testing frameworks such as Playwright
  • 2+ years of experience with Selenium and/or Appium frameworks in C# or Java
  • 2+ years of experience testing RESTful APIs with Postman or equivalent
  • Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, QA processes, and software development lifecycles
  • Familiarity with AI-powered tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar - we embrace AI-assisted QA as part of our engineering culture
  • Able to understand user requirements and translate them into documented test scenarios to create a holistic test plan
  • Knowledge of performance, regression, and integration testing practices
  • Familiarity with Jira (or similar tools) to submit and track bugs
  • Ability to work both as part of a team & independently
