Who We're Looking For
We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer with expertise in Playwright to join our team. The ideal candidate is experienced in automated testing, scripting, and CI/CD integration, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software. If you have a passion for test automation, performance optimization, and continuous improvement, we’d love to hear from you!
Primary Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to define test plans and acceptance criteria
- Create and execute end-to-end, functional, regression, and UI tests for web applications
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing
- Identify, document, and track bugs and defects, ensuring timely resolution
- Optimize and improve existing test frameworks and methodologies
- Conduct performance and load testing to ensure application reliability
- Maintain test environments, test data, and test case repositories
Some Must-Haves
- 3+ years of experience in QA automation and test development
- Hands-on experience with Playwright for web automation testing
- Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills for scripting automated tests
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Jira, or similar)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating test automation into GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD
- Experience in debugging and troubleshooting test failures
- Strong understanding of cross-browser and cross-device testing
- Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment

Other Information
The work hours will be approximately 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST, depending on workload, with the occasional late night when a tight deadline calls for it. We work for security-conscious clients; thus, background checks will be required.
