The role

The candidate for this position will be working a QA automation team responsible for supporting feature development of our product suite and big data conformance initiative. the candidate will need to demonstrate capability based on experience in requirement analysis, test planning, test design, risk analysis, and defect management in a technical environment. The candidate(s) is responsible for ensuring quality of the coverage and results, driving automated solutions, process improvements, and mentoring others. The candidate needs to be able to adapt to a fast paced Agile (Scrum) development approach with short timelines to be successful.

Preferred Skills :
• object-oriented design and coding skills
• Skilled with distributed systems, algorithms, and relational databases.
• Experience in API testing.
• Knowledge about various test method
• Understanding of Quality Assurance methodologies, life cycle, and processes.
• Experience on storage, compute and vmware testing including writing test case and manipulating test data.
• Along with Coding experience, experience of automation framework, tools, and services for mobile.
Roles and Responsibilities of an SDET :
• Performing Test Automation and setting up frameworks on multiple application platforms like Web, Mobile, and Desktop etc.
• Creating & managing bug reports and communicate with the team.
• Building different test scenarios and acceptance tests.
• Work with deployments teams and resolving any level issues for the system.
• Set up, maintaining, and operating test automation frameworks.

What you’ll bring
• 5+ years of experience developing tests cases, analyzing requirements, and managing tests results
• Experience with one or more programming/scripting languages (Java, Python)
• Experience working in an agile or other iterative software development methodology
• Experience with a Test Case Management system
• Experience supporting automated test solutions
• Reliable, self-motivated, and focused on high quality delivery of work products
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a team environment
