About the Role
We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented QA Engineer who can independently drive quality assurance across web applications, APIs, and modern software platforms. The ideal candidate combines strong manual testing expertise with automation capabilities and effectively leverages AI tools to improve testing efficiency and quality.
Key Responsibilities- Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases.
- Perform API testing and API test automation.
- Perform UI testing and UI test automation for web applications.
- Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure product quality.
- Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, and release validation.
- Utilize AI-powered tools to improve test coverage, productivity, and overall QA processes.
- Work independently and take ownership of testing activities throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Experience with API manual testing and API automation testing using any modern testing tools and frameworks.
- Experience with UI manual testing and UI automation testing using any modern testing tools and frameworks.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, Go, or similar).
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test design techniques, and defect management.
- Experience using AI tools to enhance testing, automation, analysis, and productivity.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration.
- Experience with performance, security, or mobile testing.
- Familiarity with cloud-based applications and modern development practices.

Skills Required
- 6-10 years in Software Quality Assurance with automation testing experience
- Automation testing with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, API Automation, or similar tools
- Manual functional testing experience (UI and client-server integration testing)
- API testing (REST and/or GraphQL) - manual and automated
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or C#)
- Experience creating and maintaining test plans, test suites, and automation frameworks
- Understanding of SDLC and QA best practices
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
- Strong debugging and root cause analysis skills
- Experience with AI-augmented testing and AI-powered QA workflows
- Ability to work independently and own testing activities end-to-end
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Experience with distributed systems, microservices, and backend APIs
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Performance or load testing experience
- Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
