Job Summary
Synechron is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QC Automation Engineer to lead quality assurance initiatives during software development, testing, and product rollout processes. This role involves designing and executing automated test suites, conducting root cause analysis, and ensuring compliance with project standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in test automation, software quality assurance best practices, and effective communication skills to collaborate across teams, delivering reliable and high-quality software solutions.
Software Requirements
Required:
Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or TestNG.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for automation development.
Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools like JIRA or ALM.
Experience in designing, executing, and maintaining regression and functional test suites within Agile projects.
Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
Knowledge of automation frameworks, continuous integration (CI) tools, and version control systems.
Preferred:
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, TeamCity).
Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.

Overall Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing.
Conduct comprehensive test case analysis and prepare test plans aligned with project requirements.
Execute automated and manual test cases, log defects, and track issue resolution progress.
Perform root cause analysis of defects, report findings clearly, and recommend process improvements.
Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and product owners to ensure quality standards are met.
Ensure traceability of test cases and defect reports, and maintain detailed documentation.
Advocate for best practices in automation, testing processes, and test coverage.
