We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join an international team working on a sophisticated desktop application. This role requires a strong automation background and hands-on experience testing across frontend, backend, integrations, and APIs.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for desktop applications.
- Execute and improve end-to-end testing strategies covering frontend, backend, and system integrations.
- Validate APIs and backend services using Postman and other testing tools.
- Collaborate closely with Software Engineers, QA specialists, and DevOps teams to ensure product quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and support issue resolution.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and automation frameworks.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of experience in QA Automation.
- Hands-on experience with Squish for test automation or any other framework.
- Valuable experience working in environments where C++ applications are developed and maintained.
- Strong experience testing desktop applications.
- Proven experience testing:
- Frontend functionality
- Backend services
- System integrations
- APIs
- Hands-on experience with Postman for API testing and validation.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, with the ability to integrate testing into development workflows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
Nice to Have
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with test automation best practices and quality metrics.
- Exposure to international and cross-functional teams
