Provides Quality Assurance related project assistance as it relates to analytical data review for both development and commercial products. Requires GMP understanding and accomplishment. Responsible for providing Quality leadership and scientific/GMP information support to the laboratories as the Quality representative for new products/projects. Quality Assurance liaison to R&D and other departments.

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Responsible for review of reports for stability and reference standards
  • Responsible for review of release packets for both development and commercial products
  • Liaison between QA and other departments for review and corrections of data for release, stability, and reference standards
  • Assures that GMP analytical testing complies with Corden SOPs and specifications to ensure favorable quality inspections and customer satisfaction
  • Provides analytical and basic statistical information for annual product reviews

  • Knowledge of cGMPs as they apply to documentation, release testing, stability testing, and data review
  • Ability to apply attention to detail, regulatory requirements; and a practical, defendable, logical approach to problem solving

Bachelor's degree in Science with 2 years of Quality Assurance/Quality Control experience within the Pharmaceutical industry; or a combination of pharmaceutical industry and academic experience with a strong knowledge in Analytical Chemistry. GMP Laboratory experience, although not required, is beneficial to this position.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and analytical journals. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to communicate information to customers and senior management.

Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.

Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.

Actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.
