Job Description

Generic Responsibilities

  • Ensures that the product meets the client requirements.
  • Analyzes specifications in order to build a Testing strategy.
  • Participates in the estimation of test effort considering expected quality and cost.
  • Specifies (functional and non-functional) test scenarios and test cases for verification and proposes testability requirements.
  • Plans, creates, updates and executes test cases based on use cases and scenarios for each new feature or bug fixes and reports on test execution and defect re-test progress.
  • Reports, tracks bugs/defect found using the company tools.
  • Keeps up-to-date with the Industry and best practice trends, using insights to implement new processes and initiatives in the organization.
  • Actively engages in and apply various development methodologies, to effectively collaborate, contributing for successful delivery as well as improving the development process.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Support, providing technical guidance, and providing constructive feedback to foster a collaborative and inclusive environment that promotes learning and growth.
  • Has a good overview on Business stakes being source of proposals for solutions improvements / understand the ecosystem.

Qualifications

  • Relevant training and/or certifications (CSQA / ISTQB / RST...).
  • Proven experience in manual software testing, including functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
  • SQL.
  • Agile methodologies.
  • Requirement gathering and analysis.
  • Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
