Core Development is a global team of technologists who architect, build and maintain our world-class trading platform. From optimizing our core trading engine to building custom hardware, we leverage software & hardware engineering, data science and research, to deliver the infrastructure and tools that drive our trading and business needs.
Jump Trading established its dedication to the China market with the launch of our Shanghai office in late 2017 with the ambition of building an independently operational office. Due to this ambition, we are growing our competencies in Trading, Technology and Operations. What You'll Do:
- Collaborate with both traders and middle/back-office teams: understand business requirements and design technical solutions
- Design, code, test, deploy and support reliable software applications efficiently to help business grow
- Perform code reviews for fellow engineers
Skills You’ll Need:
- At least 2+ years of experience in python programming
- Proficient in Python development, DevOps, and Linux environments.
- Database experiences (MySQL, Clickhouse, Splunk)
- Flexibility to tackle different challenges
- Analytical thinking, passion for learning, growth mindset
- Independent working, strong ownership
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or related field
